Choke and Kill Manifold and Mud Gas Separator

Drilling Equipment Inspections

How often
Choke manifold valves, chokes, HCR, kill and choke line valves: Category I daily, II weekly. Valve greasing and external checks before every BOP pressure test. Poor boy degasser: Category I daily, III annual; flush and drain the U-tube at the end of each well. Remote choke panel, choke manifold and MGS U-tube gauges: calibrated annually.
