Drilling Equipment Inspections

How often
Mud pumps and high-pressure piping: Category I daily, II weekly, III annual. Pulsation dampeners: I daily, II weekly. Pump relief valves: shear pins pulled and the valve blown down every rig move or monthly, full disassembly quarterly, Category III annual. 2 in. 1502 hardline: annual inspection and charted 250 / 5,000 psi test.
